Paired with splitters to realize dual uplinks on network links and suitable for scenarios with dual core switches
An 8-port transparent distribution device on the building side supports both 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps per port, and can accommodate up to 48 ports when fully loaded. The device integrates WDM technology, which allows for a network architecture reduced from three layers to two layers. With WDM, services from the core side to the access side are transparently transmitted, realizing passive distribution nodes.
The 8-port modular transparent distribution device together with splitters evenly distributes the optical power in a 50:50 ratio to two separate links. This setup allows for dual-uplink networks, effectively enhancing the reliability of the links between the core side and access side.
Bandwidth can be upgraded from 1 Gbps to 25 Gbps without need to change the backbone cabling area. Switches of different rates can be replaced or added as needed. Transparent distribution devices are plug-and-play, allowing for easy deployment and rapid capacity expansion.
